Coronavirus Pandemic in Iran -- Iran is facing a crisis with the number of individuals infected by the coronavirus climbing daily. This has affected the medical sector and increased prices of medicine. *MAP holds a valid OFAC Permit since 2010 and can legally send funds to Iran. MAP works through our sister NGO Nikgaman Jamshid in Iran. Our team on the ground has been assessing the situation with the Ministry of Health. To help control the spread of the virus MAP is providing N-95 masks, surgical gloves, disinfectant wipes, alcohol wipes, and hand sanitizers to medical clinics and hospitals that serve the vulnerable communities. Additionally, they provide food and other basic necessities to children and families affected.
